Our Our Design Philosophy

We believe in listening — to people and to everyday life. This belief shapes every design decision we make, expressed through three guiding principles:

1. Pre-screening First
Not to replace medicine, but to create a foundation for awareness — helping people notice early signs and choose when to seek care.

2. Clinical by Design
Each model is developed using data from clinical settings, ensuring reliability validated through rigorous research.

3. Human-Centered & Respectful
Designed to fit naturally into daily life, while honoring cultural context, privacy, and individual dignity.

Global Health Initiatives

Our work extends across regions — each facing different health realities, yet sharing the same challenge: early awareness often comes too late. Using the same non-invasive, sound-based AI foundation, we collaborate with partners to adapt our concepts and research to local contexts, working toward a world where early action becomes part of everyday life.

1. Africa | Listening to TB

Tuberculosis remains one of the world’s deadliest infectious diseases, and in many African countries, delayed detection continues to fuel transmission.
In partnership with a leading global healthcare company and local public health institutions, we are co-designing a pre-screening ecosystem framework that incorporates cough and breathing analysis to help identify at-risk individuals and communities.
This joint effort aims to support national TB programs in planning and prioritizing areas for active screening — contributing to earlier intervention and improved diagnostic efficiency.

2. Middle East | Listening to Lifestyle & Respiratory Risks

In the Middle East, diabetes and other metabolic disorders often coexist with respiratory diseases such as sleep apnea, pneumonia, and lung cancer.
Smoking and lifestyle changes have further intensified these risks.
Together with a leading global healthcare company and regional health organizations, we are exploring the design of a pre-screening ecosystem that connects AI-based respiratory insights with broader health data — aiming to help individuals recognize potential early risks while enabling health authorities to strengthen prevention programs for metabolic and respiratory diseases.

3. Japan & Beyond | Listening to Everyday

In Japan, we have already developed AI tools for sleep-related health monitoring, now deployed in corporate and institutional health checkup programs — forming a foundation for global implementation.
Building on this experience, new research areas include cough analysis and AI-based monitoring of swallowing movements.
These initiatives extend our approach beyond disease detection — toward understanding daily rhythms and subtle physiological shifts that reflect overall well-being.
Through these region-specific initiatives, AMIKAKE AI is laying the groundwork for broader early-awareness ecosystems — designed to enable people and societies to act before illness takes hold.

Through these initiatives, we aim to deliver diverse forms of early awareness across the world — empowering people and communities to take action before illness takes hold.

Technology

Our AI is designed around three core principles — clinical accuracy, everyday usability, and global scalability.

1. Clinical-Grade Accuracy

Developed using data collected in real clinical settings and validated for reliability. Rather than replacing medical devices, it supports Pre-screening — helping people notice early signs before conditions become serious.

2. Frictionless Experience

Works with just a smartphone — no needles, no tubes, no attachments. Completely non-invasive and privacy-conscious, it blends naturally into daily life while providing valuable health insights.

3. Scalable by Design

Because analysis is performed in the cloud, accuracy remains consistent across locations. The system can be easily expanded to new diseases and continuously updated, enabling truly global deployment.

Impact We Aim For

Our goal is not the advancement of technology itself, but the social impact that comes from greater health awareness.

Individual level - Helping people notice changes in their bodies earlier, empowering them to take charge of their health and future.

Societal level - Reducing delayed consultations and unnecessary testing, improving both the efficiency and accessibility of healthcare systems.

Future level - Preventing the progression of chronic and severe diseases, extending healthy life expectancy, and strengthening the foundations of sustainable healthcare.

AMIKAKE AI functions as an infrastructure for awareness — a system designed to create these layered impacts across individuals, communities, and generations.
